Pyschiatrically injured not inherently flawed

An examination of the way current psychiatric diagnosis and practice causes further emotional damage to victims of abuse rather than helps.

Society that blames the Victim

When treatment fails, rather than questioning the levels of training or appropriateness of certain therapies there is a tendency to blame the victim.

Who does the structure serve?...

An examination of why the structure remains as iy does and who really benefits from witholding treatment and support to victims of severe trauma.

Apparent Competence

Services are often witheld from patients on the grounds of apparent "good coping strategies" or "competence" and diverted to the more visbily needy patients.

Being told you are coping just fine when in fact a person is severely suicidal is an invalidating experience which mirrors abuse.
